For those fighting on the islands of the Pacific in the Second World War, gear could mean the difference between life and death. From entrenching tools to gas masks, the average G.I. was weighed down with a considerable amount of equipment! Today, at the Pacific Combat Zone come down to our “Gear Up!” outpost to learn about what was carried off the Higgins Boats, across the sands, and eventually to victory against the Japanese Empire.
